  We spent the weekend of 15-17 March 2013. We chose online on the basis of availability, location, facilities, service and value for money. We were not disappointed in any respect.
  
  The supermarket is just through the rear gate. The beach is across the road. The footbridge over the inlet is at the lights at the next street.
  
  Lesley, our host, was terrific. Really helpful and went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. I saw her with other guests and she was just as thorough and helpful with them.
  
  The flats themselves are mostly older, but they lack nothing in the way of fittings and features, which are all contemporary. They're fully self-contained, easy to use and keep clean and tidy.
  
  I've stayed at some of the world's best resorts. For a family holiday, and sheer enjoyment and value for money, I can't recall a place or experience that I'd recommend more highly than Beachcomber Flats at Lakes Entrance. They're comfy, relaxing and ideal for a longer holiday or a short break.
  
  I'd be more than happy to stay again and to recommend them to friends.
